Domestic air medical evacuation averages $10,000 to $20,000, and internationally, it can exceed $75,000. But not with the medical evacuation & travel assistance protection of MedjetAssist. As a member, if you are ever hospitalized more than 150 miles away from home, MedjetAssist will send a medically equipped and staffed aircraft to transport you to the hospital of your choice. Your modest membership fee is the only expenditure for this complete evacuation protection.
Most importantly, unlike other evacuation services, MedjetAssist lets you decide which hospital will be your final destination. Other programs may only take you to what they consider to be the “nearest appropriate facility.” Another distinguishing factor of the MedjetAssist program is that there’s no medical necessity clause. As long as you require inpatient hospitalization, we’ll be there — regardless of the nature of your illness or injury.
There are no health questions to enroll for individuals up to the age of 75*. Standard annual membership rates are $225 for an individual, $350 for a family and short-term memberships are as low as $85…offered on 7, 14, 21 and 30-day terms.
